Madurai is an endeavour of leading professionals in the Hospitality
Industry to provide creative educational opportunities to the students who wish to make a better career in this field. This
is even more so in light of the facts that present educational capacity is inadequate in terms of numbers and fails to meet
international standards of quality.
The principal promoter of TNHMCC is Mrs. Padmini Poovaiah, Managing Trustee of P.J Educational Trust, a lady with over 39 years of Hospitality
experience.
It is this love for imparting education and sharing knowledge
coupled with her first hand exposure to the Hospitality Industry that has promoted her to set up the TNHMCC.
The TNHMCC has been set up at Madurai in the year 2000 where
there is a visible and marked shortfall of trained hotel manpower, with only few hotel schools. The next TNHMCC will be opening
shortly in other districts too.

TNHMCC Madurai is set in at 6A, Vallabhai Road , Periyachokkikulam and
has modern, well equipped Training Kitchens, Restaurants, Front Office and House Keeping Labs, Class Rooms.
A well stocked
Library has the latest books, periodicals, trade magazines/ journals and audio-visual material of professional and general
interest. |
